We’re Hiring: Technical Services Manager (Mechanical or Electrical) – Healthcare 🏥 🔧\n\n📍 Ilford, East London\n💷 £60,000 – £65,000 + Benefits\n🕒 Monday to Friday | 08:00 – 17:00\n\nWe’re working with a well-established Facilities Management provider to recruit a Mechanical Services Manager (or Electrical) for a busy healthcare site in East London. This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll be responsible for delivering safe, efficient, and high-quality engineering services within a critical hospital environment.\n\nYou’ll act as the technical lead for your discipline while managing on-site engineers and ensuring compliance across all operations. This role requires a strong balance of technical expertise, leadership, and operational oversight.\n\n🔧 What you’ll be doing:\n✔️ Leading technical service delivery across the healthcare site\n✔️ Acting as the subject matter expert for Mechanical or Electrical services 🔧\n✔️ Managing and supporting engineers and specialist subcontractors\n✔️ Overseeing planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive works\n✔️ Ensuring compliance with statutory regulations and HTM standards 🏥\n✔️ Managing work in progress, reporting, and overall site performance\n✔️ Driving continuous improvement across engineering operations\n\n👷 What we’re looking for:\n• Proven experience in a Technical Services Manager or M&E Manager role\n• Strong background in facilities management or building services\n• Experience working in healthcare or critical environments (desirable) 🏥\n• Excellent leadership and team management skills\n• Strong knowledge of compliance, statutory regulations, and HTMs\n• Ability to lead from the front and manage multiple priorities\n\n⭐ Desirable:\n• Mechanical or Electrical qualifications (City & Guilds / NVQ or equivalent)\n• AP/CP or supervisory experience\n• Experience managing large-scale FM contracts\n\n💼 What’s on offer:\n💷 £60,000 – £65,000 per annum\n🕒 Monday–Friday day shifts (8am–5pm)\n🏦 Company pension\n🌴 Generous holiday allowance\n📚 Ongoing training and professional development\n📈 Career progression within a leading FM organisation\n🏥 Stable, long-term healthcare contract\n\n🚀 If you’re an experienced Technical Services or M&E Manager looking to step into a leadership role within a high-profile healthcare environment, this is a fantastic opportunity to make an impact
