Site Services Engineer – Birmingham Location: Birmingham Salary: £45,000–£50,000 + Company Van or Car Allowance About the Role We're looking for a hands-on Site Services Engineer to join our team. This is a field-based role where you'll spend the majority of your time commissioning and supporting Air Conditioning systems across customer sites. You'll ideally be based within easy reach of the East and West Midlands. The Role * Commissioning Air Conditioning systems * Fault finding and technical troubleshooting * Supporting installation teams on-site * Planning and managing your own schedule of site visits * Travelling across your region (travel time counts as part of your working day) * Occasionally assisting with warranty work from the office * Completing commissioning reports and site documentation What's Expected * Four days per week on customer sites * One day per week working from the office or home, depending on business requirements * Minimum of six hours on-site each working day (plus travel) * A practical, hands-on approach to engineering * Laptop and specialist equipment provided What We're Looking For * Proven experience commissioning Air Conditioning systems * Strong knowledge of VRV / VRF equipment * Previous experience working as a senior or experienced field engineer * Comfortable travelling throughout your allocated region * Practical, solution-focused approach with excellent fault-finding skills Package * £45,000–£50,000 basic salary * Company van or car allowance * Travel time included within the working day * Time off in lieu for longer journeys where applicable * Pension and additional company benefits If you enjoy being on-site, solving technical problems and commissioning high-quality Air Conditioning installations, this is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established business in a genuinely hands-on engineering role
