SENDCo – Part-Time (3 Days+) or Full-Time
Bexley, South East London Start: September 2026 MPS / UPS + SEN Allowance (dependent on experience)
Reed Education are working in partnership with a high-performing, three-form entry primary school in Bexley, who are seeking an experienced and committed SENDCo to join their team from September 2026.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate SEND specialist to take on a key leadership role within a welcoming, well-resourced and community-focused school. The role can be offered on a minimum of 3 days per week or full-time, depending on the successful candidate.
About the Role
- Lead and manage SEND provision across the school, including Nursery
- Oversee the day-to-day coordination of SEN support and provision
- Work closely with SLT to drive inclusive practice and school improvement
- Manage and review EHCPs, SEN Support Plans and interventions
- Liaise with parents, staff and external agencies to ensure the best outcomes
- Support and guide teaching staff in delivering high-quality inclusive teaching
- Play a key role in developing SEND strategy and provision across the school
What We’re Looking For
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- National SENCo Award (or working towards)
- Strong experience supporting children with a range of SEND needs
- Solid understanding of the SEND Code of Practice
- Experience managing EHCPs and working with external agencies
- Strong leadership, organisation, and communication skills
- A proactive, child-centred and collaborative approach
