Our talented people empower us, and we believe in being part of a team that is open, collaborative, entrepreneurial, passionate and above all fun.About the role:In November 2021 FIS announced the deal with Franklin Templeton, the largest capital markets deal ever with one of the largest global asset managers in the world with over $1.5t in assets.  The objective of this role is to support the smooth transition of the Transfer Agency systems from Franklin Templeton to FIS.In a Project Management – Technology role, you’ll use best-in-breed PM tools to help us deliver products that will change the world of fintech. This will include overseeing the development of new products and services as well as new internal information systems and applications, new technology integrations, and infrastructure build-outs.What you will be doing:Plan and coordinate all aspects of technical projects from initiation through deliveryDevelops, defines, and executes project plans, project scope, activities, schedules, budgets, and deliverablesInteracts with project development, sales, client relationship, technology solutions and/or other cross-functional teamsIdentifies needed resources for projects, defines and assigns major project rolesCoordinates activities and tasks among project team members, other internal departments and client as needed to meet project goals and ensure project completion is on schedule, within budget constraints and of the appropriate quality standards for the project scopeAssigns and monitors work of project team providing technical and analytical support and directionManages project risks, action items, issues, decisions, and dependencies to ensure project goals.Serves as liaison between technical and non-technical teams, in internal organizations as well as in client and vendor/subcontractor organizations to ensure all project targets and requirements are metDelivers informational and decision-seeking presentations and status reporting to technical and business groups in FIS and in client organizations.What you bring:Extensive knowledge of project management standards, processes, procedures, and guidelines as well as various IT methodologies and life cycles, including waterfall and agile approachesAdvanced skills with project management software. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite especially in MS Project, PowerPoint and ExcelA bachelor’s in computer science, management information systems or business administration or equivalent experience which is typically 5 or more years work experience managing technical projects in financial services or a related industrySuperior written and verbal communication and editing skills with extreme attention to detailAbility to set clear expectations, manage team performance and build high morale among team members.Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment and across all organizational levels where flexibility, collaboration and adaptability are importantMulti-talented professional that can successfully perform multiple and varying responsibilities and is able to handle a degree of ambiguityAbility to successfully overcome obstacles and recognize the severity of issues.
