Nursery Teacher

Tradewind Recruitment is partnering with welcoming primary schools across Harrow to find a passionate Nursery Teacher for September 2026. Positions are available full-time or part-time to suit your availability.

This role sits within the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), where you will plan and deliver stimulating, play-based learning experiences that support children's personal, social and emotional development, communication and language, and early literacy and numeracy.

You will work closely with Nursery practitioners and SENCO staff to identify and support children with additional needs, including SEND and EAL, and maintain accurate observations and EYFS assessments in line with the statutory framework.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential
\n
• Experience teaching in the EYFS, ideally in a Nursery or Reception setting
\n
• Strong knowledge of the EYFS statutory framework and Development Matters
\n
• Confident in play-based, child-led pedagogy and early communication development
\n
• Experience supporting children with SEND and EAL in an early years context
\n
• Up-to-date safeguarding knowledge and understanding of child protection responsibilities
