️🔧 🚨 We're Hiring: HVAC Engineer 🚨 🔧🌡️ 📍 Nottingham 💷 Competitive Salary + Excellent Benefits 🕒 Monday – Friday | Full-Time | Permanent We're looking for an experienced HVAC Engineer with a strong Building Management Systems (BMS) background to join a leading Facilities Management provider supporting a highly regulated research and technical environment. 🌍 This is a fantastic opportunity to play a vital role in maintaining critical environmental conditions that support specialist operations, ensuring mechanical and electrical building services perform safely, efficiently, and reliably. 🔧 What You'll Be Doing: 🌡️ Monitoring and maintaining critical environmental conditions, including temperature, humidity, pressure and air change rates. 💻 Using Building Management Systems (BMS) to monitor performance, identify faults and support rapid issue resolution. ⚙️ Working alongside maintenance teams to diagnose mechanical and electrical faults and develop effective solutions. 📊 Analysing asset performance to improve reliability, efficiency and long-term maintenance strategies. 🔍 Supporting root cause investigations and implementing corrective actions to minimise future failures. 🛠️ Assisting with planned maintenance, system upgrades and asset replacement projects. 📐 Reviewing new installations and carrying out engineering calculations where required. 📋 Producing technical reports and maintaining accurate engineering documentation. 🤝 Coordinating contractors and supporting project delivery across site. 🦺 Ensuring all work is completed in line with Health & Safety regulations and site procedures. 👷 What We're Looking For: 🌡️ Strong HVAC engineering experience within Building Services or Facilities Management. 💻 Proven experience working with Building Management Systems (BMS) and environmental controls. 🔧 Multi-skilled engineering background with strong mechanical and electrical knowledge. 📈 At least 2 years' experience in a Reliability Engineer or similar technical engineering role. 📖 Excellent understanding of planned maintenance, asset reliability and fault-finding techniques. 📐 Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation. 🧠 Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to continuous improvement. 💬 Excellent communication skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively. 🎓 BSc/BEng in an Engineering discipline is desirable. ⭐ Desirable Experience: 🧪 Previous experience within research, laboratory, pharmaceutical, healthcare or other highly regulated environments. 📊 Knowledge of statistical analysis and asset performance monitoring. 🏗️ Experience supporting engineering projects and contractor management. 💼 What's On Offer: 💷 Competitive Salary 🕒 Monday to Friday working hours – enjoy a great work-life balance. 📈 Long-term career progression with a leading Facilities Management organisation. 🎓 Ongoing training and professional development opportunities. 🔧 Opportunity to work in a technically challenging, critical engineering environment. 🔒 Permanent position with excellent career prospects. 🌡️ If you're an experienced HVAC or Building Services Engineer looking to step into a Reliability Engineering role where your technical expertise will make a real impact, we'd love to hear from you
