Head of Personal Tax\nBirmingham | Permanent | Full-Time 9.00 - 5.00 pm (35 hours)\nSalary £35,000 - £40,000\nAre you an experienced Personal Tax professional looking to take the next step in your career with a growing and ambitious accountancy practice?\nWe are recruiting on behalf of a well-established and highly regarded accountancy firm based in, Birmingham, seeking a Head of Personal Tax to lead and develop their personal tax function.\nThis is an excellent opportunity for a senior tax professional to join a collaborative firm, manage a diverse portfolio of clients, and play a key role in shaping the future growth of the business.\nThe Role\nAs Head of Personal Tax, you will lead the firm's personal tax offering, managing a portfolio of high-net-worth individuals, directors, and business owners while providing expert tax planning and advisory services.\nKey responsibilities include:\n * Leading and managing the Personal Tax department\n * Reviewing and overseeing personal tax compliance work\n * Advising clients on Capital Gains Tax, Inheritance Tax, residency, and wider personal tax matters\n * Managing complex client relationships and acting as a trusted adviser\n * Identifying tax planning opportunities and delivering added value to clients\n * Mentoring and developing junior team members\n * Supporting the firm's strategic growth plans\nAbout You\n * ACA or ACCA qualified with strong personal tax experience\n * At least 3 years' experience within a personal tax role in practice\n * Previous leadership or management experience\n * Strong technical knowledge of UK personal taxation\n * Experience managing high-net-worth individuals and owner-managed business clients\n * Excellent communication and relationship-building skills\n * Commercially aware with strong attention to detail
