\n Location:Coventry (Midlands-based travel)
\n Pay:£18.50 + per hour (PAYE) (Depending on experience)
\n Permanent position

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established Facilities Management company based in Coventry, who are looking to appoint a qualified Carpenter on a permanent basis due to increased workload.

This is a hands-on, varied role working across planned and reactive maintenance, alongside fit-out and refurbishment projects across the Midlands.

The Role

\n
• Carrying out planned and reactive carpentry maintenance and remedial works
\n
• Supporting fit-out and renovation works
\n
• Undertaking occasional multi-trade tasks where required
\n
• Working across commercial and public sector environments
\n
• Travelling across the Midlands, and sometimes further afield, with the possibility of very occasional overnight stays
\n

Requirements

\n
• MinimumLevel 3 qualificationin Carpentry & Joinery (City & Guilds or NVQ)
\n
• Proven experience within maintenance, FM, or fit-out environments would be an advantage
\n
• CSCS Card would be an advantage
\n
• Ability to carry out multi-trade tasks when needed such as basic plumbing & building fabric work etc.
\n
• Full UK driving licence (essential)
\n
• Reliable, professional, and comfortable working as part of a team
\n
• The ability to pass a DBS Check
\n

This role isideal for candidates with a short or immediate notice period, but the right applicant is key
\n Applicants must be experienced in working as adirect employee (PAYE)rather than operating as a subcontractor or self-employed.
